1. General Refund Rule
Because most ResellerHub products are digital and electronically provisioned, refunds are limited. The following are generally non-refundable once provisioned, activated, delivered, or consumed:
- cPanel
- Plesk
- DirectAdmin
- CloudLinux
- WHMReseller
- LiteSpeed / LiteSpeed ADC
- Imunify360
- Other software/server licenses
- Digital license keys
- Activated subscriptions
- Domain registrations and transfers
- Other products specifically marked non-refundable
2. Microsoft 365 Refunds
A qualifying Microsoft 365 initial purchase may be eligible for a refund when:
- The request is made within 7 calendar days of the original purchase.
- It is the initial purchase, not a renewal.
- The subscription has not been materially used in a way that makes reversal impractical.
- There is no fraud, abuse, chargeback, or payment dispute.
- The applicable Microsoft/reseller provisioning system permits cancellation or reversal.
- Required information is supplied.
If the service has already been substantially provisioned or used, the refund may be declined. Where appropriate, a partial or prorated refund may be offered after non-recoverable third-party charges or usage.
3. Business Mail Refunds
A qualifying Business Mail initial purchase may be eligible for a refund when:
- The request is made within 7 calendar days of the original purchase.
- It is the initial purchase, not a renewal.
- The mailbox/service has not been materially used.
- No prohibited activity or abuse has occurred.
- The service can reasonably be cancelled and applicable third-party costs can be reversed.
- No fraud, chargeback, or payment dispute has been initiated.
4. Renewals
Renewals are generally non-refundable. Customers are responsible for cancelling recurring services before the next billing date if they do not wish to continue.
5. Activated Software Licenses
Software licenses are generally non-refundable after activation, including where the license has been assigned to a server/account, delivered through a licensing system, or activated against an identifier. A change of mind or later-discovered compatibility issue does not normally qualify for a refund.
6. Incorrect Product Selection
Refunds are generally not available because the customer selected the wrong product, operating system, license type, server environment, quantity, or billing cycle. Where technically possible, we may offer a correction, exchange, or migration at our discretion.
7. Downtime & Third-Party Outages
Temporary downtime, maintenance, DNS/network problems, or third-party outages do not automatically qualify for a refund. We will make reasonable efforts to restore affected services or coordinate with the relevant provider.
8. Failed Provisioning
If a qualifying product cannot be provisioned because of an issue on our side and cannot reasonably be fixed, we may offer replacement provisioning, correction, credit, or a refund depending on the circumstances and applicable provider rules.
9. Duplicate Orders
Contact support promptly if you accidentally purchase the same service more than once. An unprovisioned duplicate may be eligible for cancellation. Activated digital products may remain non-refundable.
10. Fraud, Abuse & Chargebacks
Refunds will not normally be provided where an account or transaction involves fraud, payment abuse, false information, chargebacks, spam, phishing, malware, illegal activity, third-party-service abuse, or licensing circumvention.
Please contact ResellerHub before initiating a chargeback. A chargeback after valid provisioning may result in account and service suspension while the dispute is investigated.
11. How to Request a Refund
Contact our support/billing team through the support channel available on our website. Include your account email, order number, product, purchase date, reason for the request, and relevant technical information.
12. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method where technically possible. Processing time depends on the payment processor or financial institution.
Where applicable and legally permitted, refunds may be reduced by non-refundable third-party charges, provisioning costs, service usage, or other costs that cannot reasonably be recovered.
13. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict mandatory consumer, statutory, cancellation, or refund rights that cannot legally be excluded. Where applicable law provides greater rights, those rights continue to apply.
14. Policy Changes & Contact
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will be published with a revised update date.
